The betrayal of the regime was expected for us and the Kurdish people, but the court decision shocked us and the people, because the midnight raid on Mr. Shaswar's house by a masked force made it clear that the authorities do not care about rules or justice. What shocked us and everyone else was the court's decision to issue such a sentence without any evidence or witnesses in the case.

We reiterate that we will continue the same path and vision of Mr. Shaswar, and we will be more vigorous than ever in opposing this plundering and gangster regime of the PUK and KDP. We will not overlook any gangster behavior. We tell the Talabani and Barzani families that the arrest of Shaswar Abdulwahid will make the New Generation Movement and its leader more popular among the people.

We have already made all preparations for the Iraqi parliamentary elections to be held on November 11 this year, an election in which we are sure the people will punish this illegitimate and gangster regime of the PUK and KDP.
